The Bureau of Health Care Safety and Quality will be presenting two reports which will highlight the number of Serious Reportable Events and Healthcare-associated Infections in our acute care hospitals in 2009. The public release of the reports was required by Chapter 305, the cost containment/quality improvement bill of 2008.
A public discussion of the reports will be presented at the State House on Thursday, April 15, at 11:00 am in Hearing Room A-1.
