With great sadness, we recognize another departing member of the health reform community. Melissa Boudreault, the Connector’s lead on Commonwealth Care, is returning to independent consulting after Thursday’s Connector Board meeting.
Melissa, thank you for your three-plus years of tireless and devoted work on a complex and intense program. You and your team created Commonwealth Care from the ground up, with immense creativity and patience. The credit for its success is yours, as it grew quickly and you navigated increasingly difficult and numerous challenges. Thank you for your open mind and, more importantly, your open heart; you loved Commonwealth Care like your child, and we appreciated you always. We hope we continue to see you often.
Also, congratulations to Administration and Finance’s Glen Shor, Policy and Planning Director and Deputy General Counsel, who’s been promoted to Assistant Secretary for Health Care Policy. The title recognizes the outstanding work he’s been doing for years.
