Jerilyn Heinold and Diane Stone, frequent presenters at Health Care For All’s Consumer Network for Healthcare e-Quality lunch series, have just launched their own website, complete with excellent consumer information and resources, including a link to their consumer education video (featuring HCFA’s E-Health Consumer Advocate Lisa Fenichel), Balancing Risks and Benefits: the Sharing of Sensitive Information. As Directors of two multistate federal-state collaboratives — Consumer Education and Engagement and Consent and Disclosure — both Heinold and Stone have been deeply involved in the complex issues surrounding the implementation of electronic health records and the electronic interchange of health information, with a particular focus on consumer engagement.
Check it out!
