Happy Birthday, Commonwealth Care!

October 1 marks the second anniversary of Commonwealth Care, and the ACT!! Coalition celebrated the program’s success. Almost 170,000 people are now covered by the sliding scale health insurance plan created by health reform. Commonwealth Care accounts for almost 40 percent of the unprecedented gains in insurance coverage Massachusetts has achieved since health reform implementation began.
