My concern is the &quot;medical&quot; model of &quot;physician&quot; as the only primary care provider.  My primary care provider is a Nurse Practitioner.  In many community health centers and rural communities the only health provider is a Nurse Practitioner.  Let us not limit our options of care – data and experience also show the effectiveness of Nurse Practitioners. As the workforce shortage continues we will need all qualified providers  offering care in our “health care home”]]></description>
