A victory - get real people. Please stop focusing on INSURANCE and focus on what's really needed HEALTHCARE. I have an insurance plan because I am required by law to have one. It's the only one my employer is qualified to offer me, I'm the only one of her 6 employees who has it. I'm working part time, I can't afford the premiums, much less the $1000 deductible, I have no prescription, dental, optical coverage. I probably wouldn't be covered for a hearing aid if I needed one and none of that would count towards my deductible. I can go to the Dr and pay my $20 copay, but none of the tests she wants me to have are covered and I can't afford them. Even if I could I wouldn't be able to afford any of the medication needed to treat what was ever wrong.

So many people focus on INSURANCE and forget about the actual coverage. Let everyone pay a percentage of whatever salary they make and loose the paperwork and restrictions. Let them go where they need to go, see who they need to see, get the drugs they need, get the care they need. As long as we focus on INSURANCE and not HEALTH CARE nothing will change - it will still be the same complicated mess of paperwork and restrictions we have to deal with now, we'll just be calling it something else.
