He started last October, and I just found out. Please welcome to the world of MA health policy blogging Micky Tripathi, CEO of the Mass. eHealth Collaborative. It’s called the MAeHC Blog, and yesterday’s post addresses yesterday’s NYTimes article exploring the fast expanding world of electronic health records. Micky is now one of the smartest people in the nation on this issue, so we welcome his insights as this arena develops, and we welcome him to the not-so-fast expanding world of health policy blogging in Massachusetts.
By my count, Micky’s is now the fourth health policy blogsite in MA. The others:
Yours truly
Health Business Blog by David Williams — more national than state.
Running a Hospital by Paul Levy –
We would also include Blue Mass Group on this list. While it’s more general “civic engagement,” it often delves into MA health policy in provocative and engaging ways.
Are we missing any one?
Anyway, welcome Micky! Definitely deserving a bookmark.
Interesting that all these 4 state health bloggers are men….and at least 3 of the four are white men. Any women or people of color who can add some unique perspectives to the health policy world? Maybe the guys are the only ones who think they have something interesting to share every day? Or maybe the rest of us are too modest or too busy?
In the spirit of shameless self-promotion, I’ll add my own blog, HealthBlawg, to the mix. (Click on my name above for a link.) More health law than health policy, but some of each, as they are inextricably linked. And yes, Micky is a smart guy.
Ranworth66: c’mon in…the water’s warm! By the way, HCFA’s blog is authored by a variety of folk of diverse backgrounds.
Woman here: white with tints of jaundiced perspective (snark)- nursing issues, universal healthcare advocacy, healthcare policy, healthcare quality, patient safety, patient advocacy and healthcare news commentary.
Recently consolidated blog musings into a focused blog with growing resource links list.
Critiques and contributions welcome!
Sorry about my gender and other background, Ranworth66. Definitely my parents fault.

Nothing keeps you or anyone else from jumping in, too. 50 million other bloggers can’t be wrong!
