I know this may be hard for many to believe, but the $200K business campaign to smear the House health reform legislation in general — and the fair share employer assessment in particular — is full of distortions, half truths, and other bad stuff. A Romney administration study found that taxpayers spent over $20 million providing health care to employees of 36 large retail firms in Massachusetts, including Wal-Mart, Home Depot, CVS, Walgreens, Target and Cumberland Farms.”
